Opening: Accounts Payable Specialist - Construction

Location: Anchorage, AK

Pay: $22 - $28 per hour

COMPANY INFO: Opti Staffing Group partners with a well-established construction company in Anchorage seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist . This role is ideal for someone with a construction and oilfield background who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

WHAT YOULL DO: You will manage the Accounts Payable (AP) function, working closely with the HR Manager, owner, and project managers to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities include managing AP and Payroll , handling cost accounting, AR, and financial auditing, organizing financial records, and navigating QuickBooks Desktop for vendor management and reconciliation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in the construction industry
• Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cost Accounting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop (QuickBooks Online experience is insufficient)
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to clean up and restructure financial processes
• Drug-free status (DOT random drug testing required)
