Electrophysiology Technician
This posting is for multiple openings for an Electrophysiology Technician at Providence Regional Medical Center, Everett, WA. The Electrophysiology Technologist prepares for and assists the physician in the testing and/or treatment of patients in the Electrophysiology Lab procedures. Performs as a monitor tech and scrub tech; maintaining sterile technique. The EPT performs/reviews baseline patient assessment, evaluates patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during Electrophysiology laboratory procedures, provides patient care and administers drugs commonly used in the EP lab as directed by a qualified physician. The EPT is proficient in basic cardiac life support. The EPT is proficient in the operation and maintenance, as specific by the manufacturer, of all diagnostic and therapeutic EP equipment used for procedures.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular or radiographic technology or equivalent educ/experience
- Washington Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification upon hire.
- Or Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
- National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International upon hire.
- Or National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 6 months Cardiac internship during education.
- EP experience in a technical capacity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Completion of formal training from an AMA-approved Cardiovascular Technology Program preferred.
- 2 years of prior experience in a cardiovascular laboratory preferred.
