Senior Accountant
Management Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Grand Prairie, Texas. This is a contract to permanent position that requires a detail-oriented individual with expertise in financial operations and reporting. The role involves a hybrid work schedule, with on-site responsibilities three days a week. Responsibilities: Oversee month-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Manage general ledger activities, including maintaining records and preparing entries. Prepare and post journal entries to support accurate financial reporting. Perform account reconciliations to ensure proper alignment of financial data. Conduct bank reconciliations to verify transaction accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Monitor accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments. Review profit and loss statements to identify trends and discrepancies. Support billing operations, ensuring invoices are processed correctly and efficiently. Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial procedures and controls. Requirements: Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting. Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation. Proficiency in performing account and bank reconciliations. Familiarity with accounts payable and billing procedures. Excellent analytical skills to interpret financial data and trends. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
