Architectural Designer Opportunity
Selectek has an opportunity for a talented Architectural Designer for a contract-to-hire position in Charlotte, NC with a high-end, custom residential Architecture firm. This is an exciting opportunity to transition to a permanent role within 6 months. Responsibilities:
Conduct site visits to gather accurate measurements. Translate design visions into clear and concise technical drawings, leveraging your expertise in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Collaborate effectively with the design team to analyze and solve design challenges. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to revisions. Maintain a comprehensive library of standard design options for future projects. Attend client meetings as needed to present design concepts. Stay up-to-date on North Carolina house building codes and industry best practices. Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in architectural and design drafting, with a focus on high-end residential/multifamily projects. Strong passion for design and a commitment to continuous learning. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and SketchUp. Solid understanding of construction terminology, methods, and materials. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong 3D visualization skills and the ability to interpret construction plans. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively under pressure. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
