The Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to serve as the Provider Services Contract Monitor in the Program Operations Division. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: This position is responsible for monitoring the Provider Enrollment Services contract that oversees the provider enrollment needs of all divisions within the agency. The position is charged with the responsibility of assisting the Provider Enrollment Unit with monitoring the Provider Enrollment Services Contract activities for service level agreements, developing and approving operations and procedures, and leading provider enrollment projects and Payment Error Rate Management (PERM) audit reviews. Serves as division liaison to various community groups, provider organizations and associations. Communicates the mission of the department and Program Operations division through coordination, planning and participation in internal/external meetings and concerned parties and interest groups. This position will be responsible for providing training to support transition of program operations duties. Located in beautiful Central Virginia, the Richmond area puts you just 2 hours from the Blue Ridge Mountains, Virginia Beach and Washington DC. Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications: Considerable knowledge of the Assistance adult learning techniques and training needs assessments. Considerable experience analyzing data, problem solving, and identifying solutions and appropriate actions. Considerable experience of Medicaid provider enrollment participation rules, regulations, and procedures. Considerable knowledge of contract monitoring in a health care administration environment. Knowledge/Experience in the use of basic software applications such as word processing, spreadsheets, and database management. Knowledge/Experience interpretation and application of federal, state laws/regulations. Experience in meeting deadlines. Experience with internal/external stakeholders.
