Industrial Machine Operator
Paying $18/HR to $22/HR Location - Portland, OR Responsibilities:
Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements Sets stops or guides to specific lengths as indicated by scale, rule or templates Observes machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance assuring product meets quality requirements Performs routine machine maintenance Assist other operators to set up machines and any other necessary tasks to adhere to deadlines and completion of product Qualifications:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Frequently stand on their feet for extended periods of time Lift up to 100 lbs Environment/Shift:
Small dusty shop with 5 people in production. Lots of conveyor systems, a dryer/tumbler, tall silos that store the material, bagging machines, stacking/palletizing machines. Day shift: 4am - 2:30pm M-F Swing shift: 10am - 8:30pm M-F ($2 shift diff when hired direct) Employee Value Proposition:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
