Production Worker

Candidates will work in a dynamic production environment that produces food products. The role involves working on production lines, boxing and stacking products, loading and unloading items into machines, palletizing products, and wrapping them. Candidates will handle boxes weighing 15-20 pounds, either loading them onto machines or taking them off the end and stacking them on pallets. Tasks include opening boxes with empty glass bottles and feeding them into production machines to complete the process, or working at the end of the line to grab boxes and palletize them. Responsibilities

Work on production lines boxing and stacking products. Load and unload products into and from machines. Handle and palletize boxes weighing 15-20 pounds. Open boxes containing empty glass bottles and feed them into production machines. Maintain cleanliness of work area throughout the day. Follow all GMP practices. Essential Skills

Ability to lift 15-20 pounds. Ability to be on feet for shifts ranging from 10-12 hours. Ability to work together on a high-speed production line. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Candidates will work in a production environment without air conditioning or heating, where temperatures vary from cold in winter to warm in summer. The role requires working alongside machines that emit heat and in proximity to strong food smells such as garlic and salsa. Shifts are either 10 or 12 hours, requiring comfort with standing for long durations. Safety gear, including gloves, beard nets, hair nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses, is provided, while candidates must supply their own steel-toe boots. Temporary workers wear royal blue shirts, with two provided at the start. The production environment may involve working with 10-20 others per line, and up to 160-200 people in peak season, where many speak Spanish or Haitian Creole. Lockers and locks are provided for personal belongings, and a break room with microwaves and vending machines is available for lunch. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hurlock, Maryland. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
