Consumer Service Analyst - 42001696

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services is seeking a Consumer Service Analyst. This position is located in Tallahassee, FL, and offers a competitive salary range of $40,000.22 - $44,000.32. The successful applicant must pass a background screening, including fingerprinting, as a condition of employment. This position will be assigned one of the following shifts based on availability: 7:45-4:45, 8:00-5:00, 8:15-5:15, 8:30-5:15. Job duties include handling telephone, live chat, and email inquiries, complaints, and requests from consumers, business owners, and other interested parties regarding program areas administered by the division, nonregulated areas, and general consumer information. The position also involves providing guidance regarding registration and exemption under the regulatory functions of the division, assisting consumers filing complaints with the division or seeking information, using computer equipment to search and store data, performing research necessary to answer questions and assist consumers and others in a variety of subject areas, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
