ONEOK is seeking a skilled Designer based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this role, you'll perform design drafting duties for plant and pipeline system maps and drawings, supporting NGP Capital Projects and contributing to process safety initiatives within NGP Operations. This role is eligible for a hybrid work schedule which requires an in-office presence three days per week. Job Profile Summary
Perform design drafting duties related to plant and/or pipeline system maps and drawings. Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Interpret complex sketches, redlines, specification outlines, or logic diagrams to prepare designs of systems, structures, equipment, plant components or assemblies Responsible for creating design drawings from general flow diagrams, including the creation of piping isometric drawing for construction-related activities with the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software Responsible for design drawings regarding drainage, grade plans, and structural elements from site proposals, surveys and basemaps with the use of CAD software Develop detailed design drawings from general schematic and equipment drawings with the use of CAD software Responsible for pipeline layout from preliminary alignment sheets and design notes Responsible for the inspection and/or validation of construction/fabrication via walkdown or other methods. This includes the creation or validation of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and other as-built drawings Responsible for maintenance and management of CAD specifications, templates and design models Education
Associate's Degree or technical school certificate along with the following job-related experience preferred Work Experience
Experience in the use and function of design tools and office equipment Experience with NavisWorks software Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of: and ability to apply design codes and regulations Ability to: utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as: AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and CADWorx software Ability to: apply basic arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry, and decimals/percentages Ability to: communicate and/or exchange information and instructions; conduct oral presentations and/or meetings Licenses and Certifications
