Sr. Supply Chain Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Supply Chain leader is responsible for managing customer service & order management, inventory tracking, SAP system, supply planning, vendor forecast, material logistics, product distribution, and cross-functional communication internally and externally. The primary responsibility is to procure materials and plan production consistently with lean manufacturing concepts. In addition, this leader ensures that the team observes all regulatory and safety requirements and delivers the expected services, maintaining schedule adherence, quality, and budgetary requirements. The supply chain leader maintains a strong leadership presence and is responsible for establishing and driving a culture of collaboration and support to deliver value to our customers. Oversight of all aspects of the commercial and clinical (development) supply chain to ensure timely product supply of the site programs orders and projects. Collaborate and communicate with cross-functional departments such as Manufacturing, QA teams, MSAT, and Facilities to forecast and execute manufacturing schedules while developing a strategic supply of drug products to our customers. Maintain and improve the SAP system for inventory management and planning to ensure the system is utilized correctly. Identify areas of potential supply risk and rapidly develop and implement risk mitigation strategies. Develop and manage extensive manufacturing orders, inbound and outbound logistics of materials, work-in-progress constituents, and finish goods' under a robust chain of custody and chain of identity requirements. Develop and maintain department metrics for monitoring performance, budget, service level, and schedule adherence. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards for clinical and commercial drug products domestically and internationally. Resolve logistical issues, temperature excursions, and product complaints leading real-time triage and resolution processes to ensure minimum customer impact. Represent the site Supply Chain function in Global Logistical activities and initiatives, facilitating harmonization and collaboration of best practices. Identify and implement continuous improvement projects that create cost savings opportunities for logistic infrastructure. Prepare and present inventory updates and the status of operational strategies in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual meetings. Ensure good relationships are maintained with critical suppliers and that suppliers are held accountable for their commitments. Assures compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental regulatory requirements through creating, implementing, and administering safety initiatives for the department. Direct and coach the department teams in performance, training, disciplinary action, problem resolution, and work assignment delegation. QUALIFICATIONS
Four-year degree or equivalent in a scientific or pharmaceutical discipline with certification in logistics or planning preferred. Eight years of experience in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry, four years dedicated to Supply Chain Management, including Purchasing, Planning, Inventory Controls, Warehousing, and Distribution. Three years of experience managing projects and people. In-depth knowledge and experience in Purchasing, Planning, Materials, and Warehouse Strong overall knowledge of the MRP/SAP system and its best practices. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within established timelines. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills essential for the site collaborative environment. Must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and able to adjust workloads based on changing priorities. Understanding cGMP, EMA, ICH, international import / export requirements, and temperature control shipping guidelines.
