POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Quality Technician I is responsible for performing routine inspections, testing, and quality checks on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards. This entry-level role supports quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain product integrity and customer satisfaction.

LOCATION:

The position is based at DrinkPAK's Texas Beverage Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ensure GMP and food safety requirements and policies are implemented and respected Capable of implementing and coordinating food safety programs (HACCP, Environmental Monitoring, Pest Management, Raw Material, and Finished Product Sampling Plan) for DrinkPAK Certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) preferred Support the implementation of corrective actions associated with Identified gaps (both internal and external) Ensure data is entered into the QMS accurately and in a timely manner Ensure the correct transactions in QMS are conducted and completed as required (releases, blocks, returns) Issue Certificate of Analysis to customers and keep record of the history of recorded analysis results Verification of customer documentation requirements for products being supplied from the facility, including bills of lading, packing lists, delivery notes, and quality certificates Work closely with Supply Chain to ensure incoming ingredients, chemicals, and packaging materials are sampled, inspected, and approved for use in the production facility Provide support to correct key food safety complaints Continuous improvement of Quality Culture Collect, test, and report results in process Brix, pH, and Titratable Acids and other in-process analyses to ensure they fall within specification ranges. Assist in implementing and maintaining the SQF Food Safety and Quality systems. QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or Graduate Equivalency Diploma required. Associate degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or related field preferred. 1-3 years experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment. Prior experience with quality testing, food safety, or lab work is a plus. Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, and food safety regulations. Familiarity with sanitation, microbiological, or analytical testing procedures is preferred. Knowledge of beverage processing or bottling operations is helpful. Ability to conduct physical, chemical, or sensory tests (e.g., pH, Brix, CO₂ levels, visual checks). Use of standard lab and quality equipment (e.g., scales, thermometers, refractometers, pH meters). Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry systems. Ability to complete accurate quality records, logs, and reports. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Knowledge and experience of Global Food Safety Initiative audit schemes Excellent communication skills and a team player Understanding of government regulations in relation to food processing Ability to read and communicate in English OUR VALUES
