POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Technician II is responsible for performing intermediate to advanced quality assurance tasks to ensure that raw materials, in-process products, and finished beverages meet all company, regulatory, and customer standards. This role supports daily quality operations by conducting analytical testing, verifying sanitation practices, performing audits, and collaborating with production teams to drive continuous improvement in product safety and quality.

The position is based at DrinkPAK's Texas Beverage Manufacturing Facility in Fort Worth, Texas.

Ensure GMP and food safety requirements and policies are implemented and respected. Capable of sustaining food safety programs (HACCP, Environmental Monitoring, Pest Management, Raw Material, and Finished Product Sampling Plan) for DrinkPAK Certified Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) preferred Support the implementation of corrective actions associated with identified gaps (both internal and external) Ensure data is documented accurately and in a timely manner. Support the Document Control team with documentation review and corrections. Troubleshoot and calibrate equipment, including the HPLC, automatic titrator, DMA, refractometer, etc. Support the Quality Supervisor with the isolation of OOS products and initiating block procedures. Continuous improvement of Quality Culture Collect, test, and report results in process Brix, pH, and Titratable Acids, as well as other in-process analyses to ensure they fall within specification ranges. Perform seam analysis, data logger analysis (pasteurization), ATP swabbing and HPLC analysis. Perform package quality checks and line clearance. Review BOLs and receive paperwork for bulk offloads of sweetener products and alcohol. Work cross-functionally with various departments, including production and batching. Follow escalation and reaction plans as outlined. Support the Quality Supervisor in the implementation of procedures. Assist in implementing and maintaining the SQF Food Safety and Quality systems. QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or Graduate Equivalency Diploma required. Minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control in the Food or Beverage Manufacturing environment. Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points, Environmental Monitoring, and microbiological and food safety regulations Knowledge and experience of Global Food Safety initiative audit schemes Knowledge of beverage processing or bottling operations Ability to conduct physical, chemical, or sensory tests (e.g., pH, Brix, CO₂ levels, visual checks). Proficient with Microsoft Excel and data entry systems. Ability to complete accurate quality records, logs, and reports. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Excellent communication skills and a team player Strong leadership abilities Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Understanding of government regulations in relation to food processing Strong personal computer skills i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, WHS systems Willing to work weekend and evening shifts as required Ability to read and communicate in English OUR VALUES
