The Nevada Health Authority is hiring for a Social Service Program Specialist II in the Certified Community Behavioral Healthcare Center (CCBHC) unit. This position will provide policy and program support in Nevada Medicaid Behavioral Health Benefits Coverage Team. CCBHCs provide full-service outpatient behavioral health services including 9 core services and primary care screening and monitoring for children, adults and families. The CCBHC team provides technical assistance with regard to policy, data, claims, participates on site visits. Research and interpret state and federal regulations pertinent to policies and procedures. This position provides further support to the Behavioral Health Benefits Coverage Team as necessary. This position requires a highly motivated and self-directed professional with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. The ideal candidate will have experience and confidence to make decisions autonomously, without requiring continuous oversite or step by step approval. A strong sense of ownership and accountability is essential in this @type of position.
