Revenue Integrity Specialist
Addison Group is partnering with a healthcare organization specializing in long-term acute care and rehabilitation services. This team is focused on ensuring accurate revenue recognition and contract compliance across patient accounts. They are seeking a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and Medicare reimbursement experience. We are hiring a Revenue Integrity Specialist to audit and validate account balances, ensure contract rates are applied correctly, and support accurate billing and reimbursement processes. This role is fully onsite and ideal for someone with experience in contract analysis, collections, and Medicare billing. Key Responsibilities: Review accounts to ensure revenue accuracy and contract compliance. Validate insurance verification and billing steps prior to claim submission. Audit accounts before and after billing to identify overpayments or underpayments. Compare contracted rates with insurance payments and submit appeals as needed. Perform manual adjustments, overrides, and allowances for debit/credit balances. Collaborate with Managed Care to clarify contract terms. Recalculate pricing and perform revenue reviews for admissions and discharges. Maintain and audit Payor Master data and ensure updates are reflected in patient accounts. Complete daily reconciliation, credit balance reviews, and month-end close activities. Respond to audit requests and escalate revenue-impacting issues. Develop and maintain analytical reports for revenue tracking and variance resolution. Qualifications: Experience with Medicare reimbursement and understanding of per diems and carve-outs. 2+ years of collections experience, including UB-04 billing. Strong math and analytical skills; comfortable with calculations and contract interpretation. Proficient in reading EOBs and identifying billing discrepancies. Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with WellSky or similar systems. Fast learner, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
