Event Work Crew 3
The starting pay range for this position begins at $19.35/hour and is based on the level of qualifications and relevant experience above the minimum requirements. Event Work Crew 3 will serve as primary "lead" of specific higher trained areas such as Tent installation, Deliveries, Power/Lighting, Warehouse Coordination, Exhibition staff, or Cross utilization between both event departments. This position will report daily to the Event Supervisor while working with the other lead positions on completing weekly orders and task with minimal supervision. Other duties include being responsible for loading and unloading trucks, cleaning and repairing equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and exhibition installation/strike. In addition, the incumbent will provide general assistance and support for leadership, the department, and the company as needed. Essential Job Duties: Plan upcoming event needs with EL and/or SES Supervisor. Maintain event inventory control (both delivered and returned). Responsible for ensuring inventory is in good condition and available for rental. Must ensure all safety procedures are met. Ensure the warehouse/shop is clean, safe, and organized. Loading and Unloading orders each week. Completing Warehouse and vehicle checklist as required. Estate Exhibition/Special Event Installation/Strike. Basic knowledge of household/commercial power is preferred. Must follow safety procedures when working with power or lighting. Requirements: High school diploma (or GED). Additional training preferred. At least two (2) years of related experience. Ideal candidates will have relevant event experience. Demonstrated commitment to providing world class internal/external guest service. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Basic math skills a must. Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills; must be able to convey information clearly, concisely, and effectively. Strong planning, organizational, and project/time management skills; prioritizes work and can adapt as needed. Keen attention to detail with focus on quality and service. Proactive, takes initiative, and exercises good judgment; creatively problem solves and handles a variety of situations in a professional manner. Can operate effectively in an intense and dynamic guest service environment. Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds on a regular basis with assistance. Must have a valid driver's license and be at least 18 years old. Forklift certification may be required. Must be able to climb ladders, stairs, and/or scaffolding. Must have knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper applications. Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time. Will work indoors and outside in all types of weather with fluctuations in temperature and conditions; may be exposed to dirt, dust, pollen, fumes, smoke, chemicals, and/or other particulates.
