The Intern, under direct supervision, will be responsible for the following, but not limited to individual and group counseling, classroom guidance activities, parent consultation, registration of new students, academic planning, treatment planning, and credit evaluation depending on the program the Intern is working in. General Roles and Responsibilities Maintains confidentiality and work in a professional manner with a variety of youth, community professionals, and colleagues. Establishes a rapport with youth and families, while maintaining appropriate boundaries. Communicates and works with a multi-faceted team of professionals. Utilizes and understands cross-system designs. Program/Department Roles and Responsibilities Works with program leadership to identify areas of focus to obtain and complete educational requirements as outlined by the college/university of the Intern to support the learning process and develop critical thinking of social work systems and approaches. Participates in activities that will broaden the understanding and knowledge of service systems. Qualifications Educational Requirements Bachelor's or Master's level students in an approved university internship program required. Experience Requirements Up to one year of experience working Excellent communication skills - both oral and written. Clearances Good driving record

valid driver's license and car insurance required. Proper clearances (State, FBI, and Child Line Clearances
