General Production Worker
Join our team in the manufacturing of custom, high-end decorative garage door covers. You will work across different departments and production areas, engaging in tasks such as cutting wood and foam to size, gluing, applying wood veneer, sawing into panels, and staining with a UV-resistant coat. Quality inspection and precise measurements are key components of this role. The materials are mostly lightweight, with the majority requiring lifting of less than 5 pounds. Additionally, maintaining a clean workstation is essential. Cut wood and foam to size and glue them together. Apply wood veneer and saw materials into panels. Stain panels with UV-resistant coating. Perform quality inspections and take precise measurements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation. Experience in cabinetry, carpentry, framing, painting, and woodworking. Proficiency in using saws and reading tape measures. Experience with quality inspection and control. Ability to solve problems independently. Interest in artistic hobbies such as baking, crafts, drawing, and model building. Career-oriented with a desire for personal growth and development. Ability to bend, twist, squat, reach, grasp, stand, walk, and perform fine manipulation with fingers. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently, both above shoulder height and below the waist. Good vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral, color, and depth differentiation.
