This position is available only to enrolled American University students. Student employee working in an administrative position and has a Federal Work Study (FWS) Award. Responsibilities: Creating and distributing flyers for events, courses, and more. Assisting with posting to Instagram. Collaborating on the monthly newsletter. Maintaining and updating the CRGC bulletin boards. There are a minimum of 8 events in CRGC per academic year. It is preferred that the Student Administrative Assistant will be there for all of them. CRGC Day (April 15th, 2026) is the most important event of all. Set up and breakdown of events. Assisting with catering options. Meeting vendors/catering at the event for set up. Keeping the office and other CRGC spaces organized and maintaining a list of needed supplies. Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work: Part-Time. 10-15 hours per week. It is preferred that the Student Administrative Assistant is in the office two days a week for at least two hours per day. This would allow the Student Administrative Assistant to assist faculty members with needed supplies and to take messages from anyone who stops in the CRGC main office in Battelle-Tompkins. There are occasional weekend events for prospective students (not required). Salary Range:
