IM Supply Chain Business Development and Network Strategy role. This position will support Innovative Medicine Supply Chain (IMSC) and will be based in Titusville, NJ. Position Overview & Responsibilities The Finance Manager will be part of cross-functional business development (BD) project teams and provide finance leadership in all Supply Chain aspects to licensing, acquisition, and divestiture deals. In addition, this role will shape and develop IMSC Network Strategy assessments to grow and optimize our global manufacturing footprint. This is an exciting opportunity to independently lead complex projects, influence high-impact decisions, and interact with senior leaders throughout different functions in the organization. This position reports to the Senior Finance Manager, IMSC Business Development & Network Strategy. Responsibilities include: Partner with Innovative Medicine BD Finance team, Supply Chain BD team, and leadership teams of other IMSC functions in the evaluation of BD deals. Develop gross profit estimates and supply chain capital analysis for licensing, acquisition, and other deal evaluations; identify risks and opportunities and highlight sensitivity to key supply chain assumptions. Provide financial recommendations to IMSC Finance VP, IMSC Leadership Team, and BD project team; acquire IMSC approval for financial inputs into deal model. Evaluate impact of divestiture opportunities, develop transitional supply pricing, and review contract agreements to ensure appropriate terms and conditions are included to minimize risk exposure. Provide due diligence support to deal team, including direct interaction with external parties. Partner with IMSC Network Strategy team in developing financial models and long-term strategy for our manufacturing network. Lead financial modeling and business case development for network opportunities such as plant expansion, exit/optimization, long-term make vs. buy, and scenario planning. Identify key value drivers and sensitivities from financial model, and translate into recommendations to IMSC Finance VP and IMSC Leadership Team. Develop initial investment recommendation, capital appropriation requests, and transition approved projects to the Finance implementation lead. Qualifications A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. A minimum of 5 years of finance/accounting experience is required, preferably in large multi-national organization(s). Supply Chain finance and/or pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred. Excellent analytical, accounting, and financial modeling capabilities are required; intermediate Microsoft Excel skills are required. Experience in building and delivering PowerPoint presentations to all levels of the organization is required. Ability to work independently in a dynamic, ambiguous, and matrixed environment is strongly preferred. May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel.
