Plumber II to perform advanced plumbing maintenance and repair services with minimal supervision across hotel facilities. This key technical role requires expertise in diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and installing complex plumbing systems, including boilers, potable water, and sewer systems. The Engineering Specialist
Plumber II plays a critical part in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and guest satisfaction by maintaining all water-related systems and responding promptly to maintenance needs. A seasoned plumbing technician with a strong background in maintaining and repairing complex plumbing and boiler systems. A self-motivated professional capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards. A skilled problem-solver with excellent mechanical and troubleshooting abilities, able to quickly identify issues and apply corrective solutions. A customer-focused team player who communicates effectively with internal teams, management, and hotel guests when needed. A safety-conscious technician who adheres to all established procedures, regulations, and hotel policies to ensure a safe and functional environment. Perform skilled and semi-skilled work to maintain and repair plumbing, boiler, potable water, and sewer systems in hotel facilities. Inspect and assess plumbing systems, boilers, valves, pumps, and related components for wear, leaks, and required service. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues including broken lines, clogged drains, and malfunctioning water heaters or circulating pumps. Complete repairs and installations of pipes, fittings, water systems, valves, and drainage components using industry-standard tools and techniques. Conduct minor electrical work related to water systems, including pumps, motors, and water heaters. Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas; transport tools and equipment as needed between job sites. Supervise and assign tasks to a small crew during plumbing projects and ensure timely completion. High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years' experience working with plumbing systems, boilers, and water-related infrastructure in a commercial or hospitality setting. Proven experience in diagnosing plumbing problems and performing corrective actions on water heaters, sewer systems, and water distribution equipment. Basic knowledge of electrical systems related to plumbing components (e.g., wiring for pumps and heaters). Comfortable using Windows-based software and digital work order systems. Ability to read and interpret safety documents, instructions, and maintenance manuals. Valid state driver's license and ability to transport tools and equipment as needed.
