On-site - Harrisburg, PA (600+-unit property)
About the Opportunity
A well-established multifamily community in Harrisburg, PA is seeking an experienced Property Manager to lead daily operations and drive performance across a large, 626-unit conventional property. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational oversight, excellent team management, and a focus on resident satisfaction.
This property has an experienced on-site team in place and is receiving investment and support from ownership to ensure long-term success.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, compliance, and resident relations Supervise and support a team of leasing professionals, Assistant Manager, and maintenance technicians, in collaboration with a long-time Service Manager Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) related to occupancy, collections, and retention Foster a positive, collaborative team culture with an emphasis on engagement and accountability Handle vendor relations, contract negotiations, budgeting, and capital planning Ensure compliance with all Fair Housing laws and company policies Assist with leasing, renewals, and resident retention strategies as needed Requirements
Qualifications
Experience at a mid- to large-size apartment community Strong leadership and team development skills Solid understanding of multifamily property operations, financial reporting, and KPI tracking Experience working with long-tenured maintenance teams a plus Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities Familiarity with property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Entrata) High school diploma or equivalent required; industry certifications a plus Benefits
