We are seeking dedicated individuals to be a part of our dynamic workforce.Shift: 1st shift - 5:30am - 2pmPay Rate: Competitive, based on experienceKey Responsibilities Operate a variety of equipment including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks to move materials and goods within the facility. Maintain records and develop skills in basic tasks, techniques, and procedures within the assigned area. Follow clearly defined SOPs and adhere to quality guidelines. Work under general to limited supervision.Qualifications Two years of experience operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) is a must. Effective and accurate case picking skills. Comfortable reading pick tickets, labels, and using handheld scanners or RF devices. High School Diploma or GED required. Must have safety shoes. Successful completion of a drug test is required. Interviews will be conducted over the phone.Skills and Abilities Basic skills training in material handling, logistics, or manufacturing production. Effective communication skills at a level co-workers and supervisors can understand. Ability to read, write, interpret, and comprehend documents in English. Perform basic math calculations and operate in a metrics-driven environment. General computer skills.Physical DemandsThe job requires regular physical activity, including walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, lifting, crouching, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, and twisting. Frequent use of hands for handling, feeling, picking, or typing is necessary. The role may require lifting and moving over 50 lbs.Work conditions involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, extreme weather conditions, and moderate to loud noise levels. Occasionally, there may be exposure to high places and airborne particles. The environment is hot in summer (no AC) and cold in winter (limited heating).
