Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all process and production equipment, as well as general building maintenance. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent mechanical aptitude and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and maintain all process and production equipment as well as general building maintenance. Repair and maintain plant process, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Design, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment. Install new equipment according to manufacturer specifications and management requirements. Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt. Work directly with engineers, machinists, assemblers, and machine operators. Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned. Essential Skills
Excellent mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with electrical aspects and troubleshooting electronics. Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions provided by manufacturers. Read, write, and understand English. Read and interpret instructional electrical, hydraulic, and process systems drawings. Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Good troubleshooting skills coupled with a strong work ethic. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in manufacturing maintenance and plastics manufacturing is a strong plus. Knowledge of PLC systems and control systems is a plus. Self-starter with a willingness to perform other related duties as required. Able to work overtime as required. High school diploma or GED. Certificate in relevant expertise areas such as electrical, mechanical, and/or other areas is a plus. Why Work Here?
