We’re seeking a dedicated
Unit Manager
to join our growing team! This leadership role is essential in supporting nursing operations and ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Reliability, trustworthiness, and consistency with attendance are crucial. You must be able to multitask, manage stress, and communicate effectively in a team-focused environment.
Must be a Licensed Nurse (LVN or RN) recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing.
Your Impact as a Unit Manager In this role, you will:
Assess and evaluate systems that support the delivery of quality resident care
Resolve resident care issues and family concerns in a professional, timely manner
Implement and evaluate nursing procedures aligned with unit programs
Make clinical nursing diagnoses and guide care plans accordingly
Perform nursing assessments to monitor resident health status
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessments
Educate residents and families on health conditions and care plans
Participate in quality assurance activities and ensure compliance
Maintain accurate documentation per company policy and regulations
Step in for general nursing duties in emergencies or during staffing shortages
Use electronic medical records and demonstrate basic computer proficiency
What Makes You a Great Fit We’re looking for someone who:
Is a licensed LVN or RN in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing
Brings strong clinical skills and a passion for resident-centered care
Has experience in long-term care (preferred but not required)
Communicates professionally and collaborates well with others
Stays organized, calm, and focused under pressure
