Areas of responsibility to include (but not limited to): Inspects and vacates when required, ensuring all make-ready repairs are completed correctly as assigned. Diagnoses and performs routine maintenance or repairs. Knowledgeable of inventory levels of supplies to handle most common repairs and situations. Complete assigned service requests within 24 hours when possible. Assist other service staff in keeping grounds and common areas clean and free from litter and clutter. Assist in responding to all community emergencies with staff, residents, buildings, etc. Requirements: Minimum one-year previous experience in property maintenance or equivalent. Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances, pools, and general maintenance equipment. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and maintenance equipment. Work as part of a team, as well as complete assignments independently. Deliver high-level customer service to residents. A minimum of 40 hours per week availability, including nights and weekends for emergencies. Safety: Learn and comply with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules. Ensure safety protocols are followed and reported to the Service Manager or Community Manager. Maintain and inspect tools and equipment for safety compliance. Administrative: Provide complete service requests to office team for completing forms, preventive maintenance, service requests, etc. Resident Relations: Maintain positive customer service with residents. Deal with resident concerns and requests in a timely manner to ensure resident satisfaction. Community Engagement: Assist with community initiatives and support the Service Manager and staff to encourage a harmonious environment. General: Represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Perform any additional duties or tasks as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
