Administrative Specialist - Rehabilitative Services - Central Office (Open)
Located at the Central Office, this position plays a pivotal role in the Rehabilitative Services division by managing both routine administrative duties and key projects. This includes providing critical support across several areas: classification, community supervision, programs, and reentry services. This role reports directly to the Partnership Program Manager and is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and successful execution of the agency's priorities. Duties Provides comprehensive administrative support to the Rehabilitative Services division by managing various division functions; ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, managing critical documents for the incarcerated population, processing education verifications, and handling invoices. Data and reporting; perform data entry, filing, and scanning to maintain accurate and accessible information. Utilization of internal data management system. Design, build, and maintain detailed spreadsheets to track critical data. Interdepartmental coordination; facilitate clear and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders, including a diverse incarcerated population. Build and maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships to support organizational objectives. Requirements / Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: At least one year of post high school coursework or experience in: administration, office management, accounting, finance, planning, policy analysis and implementation, administrative/management analysis, operations research, program evaluation, research, or similar fields or in a field related to the programs or functions of the employing agency. Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree in a related field or completion of a relevant vocational training program. One to three years' experience in office management or administration. Demonstrated ability to manage small-scale projects, including tracking documents and coordinating tasks from start to finish. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Experience may be substituted for education. Other: Transcripts required prior to appointment. External applicants accepting a job offer must pass the following pre-employment exams in this order: medical exam, and at a randomly announced time, pass a drug test. Once at the Staff Training Academy, must successfully complete the fully paid NE Corrections Training Program. Benefits
