Data Center Facilities Coordinator
Nesco Resource is seeking a Data Center Facilities Coordinator role for our client on a full-time & onsite opportunity in the Quincy area! This is an opportunity to work alongside a global Premier Data Center Integrator who is building out a larger program in the general area. As the DC Facilities Coordinator you will ensure the effective and economical use of the Data Center's business resources, and will support the financial requirements of the operation in the NW Region (WA and OR). You will also manage the Quincy shipping and receiving program. In this role you will provide the purchasing function, tracking, and streamlining all expenditures for the Quincy, Seattle, and Portland locations. Essential Job Functions
Provides Facility purchasing and tracking Tracks and provides invoice tracking, management and budgeting support Coordinates with outside vendors as required Provides feedback regarding contract management and guidance Provides assistance with management of janitorial staff and support Manages all shipping and receiving into and out of the Quincy facility. Responsible for customer service for shipping and receiving Keeps customer and storage areas clean and tidy Manages the facility supplies and printer services Evaluates and makes recommendations on data center policies and procedures Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices. Qualifications
One year in a facility maintenance. Two years College. Experience in environmental systems maintenance programs a plus. Skills and Abilities
Requires understanding and principal working knowledge of facility support systems. Requires understanding and principal working knowledge of Security environments and shipping and receiving into and out of the facility. Good communication skills in dealing with employees and vendors. Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. Familiar with use of all Microsoft Office products. Salary: $40k-55k/yr plus up to a discretional 5% bonus and benefits. All eligible employees will have the opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs.
