Administrative Assistant II
The Test Center Coordinator works with the Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) office, 100% during the academic year (off January, June, July and August). This position manages the SSD Test Center and assists faculty, instructional staff and students in the provision of exams for students with disabilities. This position serves as the point of contact for faculty and students registered with the SSD office and approved for test accommodations. This position coordinates with students and faculty/instructional staff for receiving new exams and returning completed exams. This position maintains data for eligible students with disabilities for monitoring federally mandated services provided to students according to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and UW-System policy. Core responsibilities include: managing the SSD Test Center. Duties include: maintaining paper and electronic files, coordinating exams for students, and assisting faculty and instructional staff in test administration. Write and send communications to students and faculty regarding Test Center procedures. Maintain SSD software for administration and scheduling of student exams. Ensure confidentiality of student disability information and integrity of exams. Respond by phone, email or in person to questions from faculty, instructors, students, and SSD staff regarding test accommodations. Perform other duties as assigned and contribute to unit, university, and community activities. Key Job Responsibilities
Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures under general supervision Collects, analyzes, and prepares various communication materials from established sources utilizing technology mediums Serves as a first point of contact for individuals and groups, provides basic organizational information via phone, in person and through other communication mediums, and routes more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities Maintains established methods and organizational systems directed at the maintenance of electronic/physical records related to work operations according to established policies and procedures Department

$17.25/hour Required Qualifications
Experience or educational background in administrative or business-related field, interpersonal skills to maintain a welcoming and supportive environment and maintain confidentiality of student's disability needs, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, data entry in software programs and Excel. Preferred Qualifications
Professional written and oral communication skills, ability to perform detailed work with a high level of accuracy, organizational skills for multi-tasking, interpersonal skills to maintain a welcoming and supportive environment and maintain confidentiality of student's disability needs and documentation.
