Description
The role involves conducting initial behavioral and mental health assessments for referred clients, including youth and families, and scheduling intake assessments in various settings such as schools, homes, community locations, or Child Focus offices based on client preference.
The individual will guide families through the intake and registration process, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
They will develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, families, school personnel, and other service providers.
Responsibilities also include delivering prevention and consultation services in schools, such as health promotion, education, early problem identification, and referral support.
Accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system is essential. The position requires participation in the emergency on-call rotation to respond to urgent mental health needs.
Additionally, the role includes collaborating with both internal staff and external professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of services, supporting students and families in accessing school-based resources through recommendations and referrals, and potentially carrying a small ongoing caseload.

Requirements
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Social Work Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy
Required License: LSW, LPC, MFT, or Master's degree in psychology registered under supervision of a licensed psychologist.
Other Requirements: Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and $300,000 liability insurance if transporting clients. Ability to work flexible hours, including early morning school hours, evenings, and participation in the emergency on-call rotation.
