Function/Duties of Position

The Division of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology, within the Department of Pediatrics of Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU), is seeking an assistant professor or associate professor of pediatrics specializing in the treatment of hematologic malignancies. The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of post-fellowship experience in the care of complex hematologic malignancies; clinical experience in stem cell transplant and cellular therapy is also strongly preferred. The position will assume clinical care of children, adolescent and young adults with hematologic malignancies and administrative/leadership responsibilities as assigned by the division head; participate in fellow training and student/resident educational programs of the department; serve on committees and councils of OHSU; participate in outreach and public service programs and professional societies with the knowledge and consent of the chair; conduct collaborative clinical, translational, and/or health systems research at OHSU, and fund these efforts as necessary through grants and contracts. Required Qualifications

An M.D. degree or the foreign equivalent; Oregon medical licensure or eligibility for licensure; Board certification or eligibility for board certification in pediatrics and pediatric hematology-oncology All education, training and experience may be gained concurrently. Additional Details
