Our client is a top ENR firm, headquartered out of Boston but with multiple offices across the US. They have a $10B+ project backlog and serve every major construction project. The Electrical Estimator will: Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Perform accurate quantity takeoffs using estimating software and manual methods. Solicit and evaluate quotes from vendors and subcontractors. Develop detailed proposals and bid packages for submission to clients and general contractors. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field staff to ensure alignment on scopes and budgets. Maintain cost databases and historical records to support future estimates. Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to assess project conditions. Review and analyze RFI responses, addendums, and revisions to ensure updated pricing. Support change order pricing, value engineering, and budget reviews during project execution. The Electrical Estimator will have: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating or a related construction role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and installation methods. Proficiency in estimating software (such as Accubid, ConEst, Trimble, or Bluebeam). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents. Familiarity with local labor rates, material pricing, and construction market trends. What's on Offer
