VP of Finance
The VP of Finance is responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including the preparation of financial statements, month-end and year-end close processes, and ensuring compliance with GAAP or IFRS. It involves leading budgeting and forecasting efforts, monitoring financial performance, and providing variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. The position also ensures strong internal controls are in place to safeguard assets and maintain compliance with financial regulations. Additionally, the role manages tax planning and compliance, including sales, payroll, and corporate taxes, while staying current with evolving tax laws and regulatory requirements. MUST HAVES: Overseeing the month-end close process (recs, journal entries, financial statement prep/analysis) Budgeting/forecasting Taxes Cost accounting Internal controls Treasury management Create pivot tables and VLOOKUP's in Excel Proficient within a large scale ERP such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Info NICE TO HAVES: Treasury Tax CPA Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in accounting or finance 10+ years of experience overseeing the month-end close process (recs, journal entries, financial statement prep/analysis) 10+ years of budgeting/forecasting experience 5+ years of cost accounting/inventory experience 5+ years of treasury management experience 5+ years of experience filing tax returns 5+ years of experience implementing internal controls Experience working within the manufacturing industry from 2023 or later Create pivot tables and Vlookups in Excel Proficient within a large scale ERP such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, Info Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $250000.00/yr.
