We are looking to add a Senior Vice President, Institutional Investments to the Syndications department in CREA's Indianapolis, IN., Boston, MA., or other CREA office, depending on the candidate.

Position Summary:
The Vice President of Institutional Investments in the CREA's Syndications department will report to a Managing Director or the Executive Vice President of the Syndications team. This individual will be part of an energetic CREA department working directly with investors in the affordable housing industry. Key responsibilities include:
Primary Responsibilities: Develop and maintain targeted client relationships list; Identify, qualify, catalog, and solicit Insurers, and Regional and Community Banks generally over $5B in net assets; Utilize a CRM to log investor interactions and track contact details; Create and implement a strategy for outreach to dormant investors with current fund or investment opportunities; Act as the Syndications contact for potential investors identified by the Originations team; Prepare sales materials and work with the manager or other Production team members to organize and conduct sales meetings; Manage Broker relationships and run bi-weekly calls; Work with other Syndications team members to transition new investors to the appropriate outlet with ongoing coverage assignment; Assist other team members in their responsibilities; and Other duties as assigned by the Managing Directors, Executive Vice President of Syndications, or the Executive Vice President of Production.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field. A minimum of five years of experience in the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) industry is required. Additional experience in sales, investor relations, real estate finance, and financial analysis is preferred. Familiarity with CRM platforms is also preferred.
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated and dependable professional who is detail-oriented and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. This position requires 25% to 50% travel. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential, with particular emphasis on Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Word. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in each of the Core Competences:
