Production Supervisor
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead, motivate, and train our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delegating tasks, conducting performance reviews, monitoring product quality, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This role will require a proactive approach to process optimization, equipment management, and inventory control. Responsibilities
Lead, motivate, and train production staff, delegating tasks and conducting performance reviews. Monitor product quality and implement quality control measures to address any issues. Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety regulations and compliance with standards. Analyze workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure equipment is properly maintained and functioning efficiently. Prepare production reports, maintain records, and communicate relevant information to management. Monitor inventory levels, ensure materials are available for production, and coordinate with procurement. Essential Skills
5+ years of manufacturing experience in a production supervisory role. Strong understanding of manufacturing production flow. Experience in leading teams and implementing training programs. Safety-oriented with a priority on safety regulations. Proficiency in lean manufacturing and root cause analysis. Strong supervisory and industrial operations skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications

The work environment includes three departments: extrusion, finishing, and mixing, equipped with 8 extrusion lines, chillers, boilers, and conveyors. The facility operates on a non-union basis for managers, with shifts available from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, 4:00 pm to 12:00 am, and 12:00 am to 8:00 am. Please note that the facility is non-climate controlled with older machines. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bellefontaine, Ohio. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
