HEPCO, Inc.
We are seeking a Computer Support Specialist to provide first-level support for help desk and security incidents.
• Respond promptly to calls and emails sent to the Statewide Financial System (SFS) Help Desk • Document all issues and requests accurately during the initial interaction • Analyze user problems and questions; use system knowledge and knowledge base resources to identify resolutions • Maintain a working knowledge of SFS navigation, procedures, and processing requirements • Assist users with system navigation, access, and report generation • Escalate issues and requests to second-level support when necessary • Coordinate schedules with the Help Desk supervisor to ensure coverage during business hours • Learn and use core Help Desk tools and software and develop foundational knowledge of the supported products • Participate in training sessions, workgroups, and agency meetings
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing/case management software is a plus • Strong proficiency in MS Windows, MS Outlook, and MS Office, especially Excel and Word • Understanding of basic accounting principles • Ability to collaborate effectively and work well in a team environment • Reliable, dependable, and trustworthy • Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively • Familiarity with MS SharePoint is desirable • Ability to write clear, concise, and professional non-technical correspondence • Ability to run SQL scripts or queries is a plus
Preferred Education:
• High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred • Degree in Computer Science or a related field is a plus

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
