Stratacent is looking for an experienced and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Node.js, cloud services, and HashiCorp APIs. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in automating our development pipeline, ensuring the scalability and reliability of our infrastructure, and working closely with developers to deliver efficient and robust applications in the cloud. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain automated pipelines for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) using Node.js, cloud services, and HashiCorp tools. Manage, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure and services on (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, etc.) to ensure scalability, high availability, and performance. Use HashiCorp tools (Terraform, Vault, Consul, etc.) for infrastructure as code (IaC), secrets management, and service discovery. Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments. Work with tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to automate server configuration and deployment across cloud environments. Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure the health and performance of the applications and infrastructure. Implement security measures in infrastructure deployment (e.g., IAM, VPC security groups, Vault) and adhere to best practices in securing cloud environments and managing sensitive data. Assist in managing and optimizing the costs of cloud infrastructure by monitoring resource usage and implementing cost-saving strategies. Required Qualifications:
Solid experience in Node.js, particularly in automation tasks, cloud services integration, and developing backend services. Deep understanding of coud services and experience in architecting scalable solutions. Expertise with HashiCorp tools such as Terraform (for IaC), Vault (for secrets management), Consul (for service discovery), and Nomad (for container orchestration). Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or similar. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration. Understanding of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Proficient in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Shell for automation. 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role with strong expertise in ssscloud services. Hands-on experience in deploying and managing Node.js applications in a cloud environment. Experience with HashiCorp APIs (Vault, Consul, Terraform) for cloud infrastructure automation and secrets management. Experience implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, deploying applications, and automating workflows. Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) and incident management systems.
