Job Description
A gas turbine company is looking for a Sourcing Specialist Business Process Lead to join their team. This person will play a strategic role within the Supply Chain and Logistics function. They will be creating and implementing processes and training for the entire supply chain organization.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic Supply Chain Support: Facilitates integration between procurement and facility support teams to ensure supply chain excellence.
Process Improvement: Identifies, defines, and implements supply chain solutions to improve performance and efficiency.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Builds internal and external partnerships to explore sourcing opportunities and best practices.
Risk Assessment & Business Proposals: Evaluates the soundness of sourcing strategies and assesses associated risks.
Benchmarking & Metrics: Investigates industry standards to develop optimal supply chains and improve supplier performance.
Data Analysis: Uses data to prioritize cost-effective supply chain improvements, inventory utilization, and business partnerships.
Key Skills
Planning (Tactical & Strategic): Contributes to short-term and long-term planning aligned with business goals.
Decision Making & Critical Thinking: Applies analytical skills to make informed sourcing decisions.
Project Management: Manages initiatives that enhance procurement processes and supplier relationships.
Negotiation & Leadership: Leads negotiations with suppliers and drives change across teams.

Skills and Requirements
-Bachelors Degree
-7-10 years of sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment
-5+ years of experience creating and implementing processes, training within supply chain
-5+ years of experience acting as a project manager within supply chain
-Familiar with strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and risk assessment. -Master's Degree
-APICS/ASCM certified
-Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
-PMP null
