Job Description
A gas turbine company is looking for a Contract Specialist Business Process Lead to join their team. This person will play a key role in managing and improving contract- related processes within the supply chain and procurement functions.
Primary Responsibilities:
Contract Generation: Develops and manages contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal standards.
Process Optimization: Identifies and implements improvements in contract management workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Works closely with legal, procurement, and supply chain teams to align contract strategies with business goals.
Risk Assessment: Evaluates contract terms and business proposals for potential risks and recommends mitigation strategies.
Benchmarking & Best Practices: Researches industry standards and integrates best practices into contract processes.
Data Analysis: Uses data to identify opportunities for cost savings, improved supplier performance, and better inventory utilization.

Skills and Requirements
-Bachelors Degree
-7-10 years of experience in contract negotiation and management, vendor management, risk assessment, and business process improvement
-5+ years of experience creating and implementing processes, training within supply chain -Master's Degree
-APICS/ASCM certified
-Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
-PMP null
