We are seeking a Specialist in General Ob/Gyn to serve as Division Chief of General Ob/Gyn. POSITION SUMMARY:

As the Chief of General Ob/Gyn, you will oversee a team of 21 generalist ob/gyn physicians and 12 advanced practice clinicians. Collaborate with the Chair of Obstetrics-Gynecology to advance the mission and provide exceptional care to a diverse, underserved population. The division includes subspecialists in Complex Family Planning and Pediatric/Adolescent Gynecology. Work in a multidisciplinary environment with a midwifery division, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, and a new OB hospitalist division to offer comprehensive, patient-centered care. Lead strategic initiatives, develop leadership skills, and promote quality, safety, and patient experience improvements. Enjoy protected time to focus on leadership and strategic projects. DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

Be part of a collaborative department working alongside a large midwifery division, delivering holistic care to diverse communities. The division offers support in maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, gynecologic oncology, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and reproductive endocrinology. The division handles approximately 600 deliveries annually, emphasizing minimally invasive procedures. ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE:

Engage with UMass Chan School of Medicine’s regional campus, mentoring residents, fellows, and students. Our program includes 24 Ob/Gyn residents and fellowships in Urogynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Participate in interprofessional education, uniquely co-located with a Midwifery Education Program. Contribute to research, quality improvement, and scholarly projects with strong institutional support.
