Job Opportunity At Custom Physical Therapy

Custom Physical Therapy is an outpatient physical therapy practice with four locations treating various physical conditions across Reno and Sparks. Our number one priority is our patients. We provide personalized treatment with hands-on, compassionate care. We perform comprehensive evaluations and encourage patient input for treatment planning and goal setting. Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients and develop and initiate treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Review the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required.
  • Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines.
  • Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers.
  • Hold responsibility for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians.
  • Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals.
  • Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies.
  • Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited college with an APTA curriculum.
  • One or more years of outpatient orthopedic experience within a private clinic or hospital preferred.
  • Currently registered and licensed in the state of Nevada and CPR certified.
  • Outgoing and energetic personality.
  • Experience in exercise and manual-based skills, McKenzie skilled, and sports rehabilitation.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $45 - 50.00 an hour.
