CNC Machinist II 2nd Shift

Job Description
Work adhering to all safety policies and procedures always
Set tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches
Calculate dimensions and tolerances using basic mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers
Verify settings by adhering to blueprint specifications and international standards
Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, milling, and cutting (This includes turning, facing, knurling and internal/external threading, and manual esthetics to meet quality expectations)
Understanding of G and M Codes Ability to adjust adhering to print specifications
Detect malfunctions and troubleshoot Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations Accomplish organization goals by exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
Ability to run 3 different machine groups in the shop (Manual Mills, Manual Lathe, CNC Horizontal, CNC Vertical, and CNC Lathe)
Ability to train others on mastered equipment
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Completion of a certification program for machining is preferred
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to multi-task
SAP experience preferred
Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Minimum of 3-5 years of machining experience
Experienced in operation of hand grinders (pads, disc, belt)
Experienced in operation of pedestal grinder
Experienced in operation manual vertical mills
Experienced in operation manual lathe
Experienced in operation CNC vertical or horizontal mills
Experienced in operation CNC lathe
Knowledge of Basic CNC M-code & G-code
