Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
The candidate should possess:
- Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature's Joint Policies and Procedures.
- Calendar and Scheduling
- Constituent Management
- Legislative Research
- Legislative Process
- Public Relations and Press Releases
- Stakeholder Relations
- Designated Tallahassee Staff during Committee Weeks and Session and Travel System
- Mandatory Trainings as Assigned
Minimum Qualifications
An associate's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited university. Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
