The human resources coordinator will have administrative responsibilities and assist with essential functions such as onboarding, recruiting, benefits, and other daily HR transactions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Handle all administrative tasks for new-hire orientations, and exit interviews, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance.
- Assist the Talent Acquisitions department with onboarding, background checks, recruiting, and staffing of new team members for hourly and salaried positions.
- Prepare paperwork and schedules for a smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver exceptional first-day experiences.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for questions related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR-related matters.
- Coordinate employee engagement activities and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Manage digital employee files, ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist the HR Business Partner/HR Manager in their responsibility for adherence to employment laws, in addition to ensuring compliance with FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and other applicable areas of employment law.
- Assist with short and long-term disability and FMLA processes.
- Support benefit enrollment processes as well as educate employees on retirement plans, benefits, health, and wellness initiatives.
- Assist with other HR related projects as needed.
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential employee information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
- Two or more years of experience with demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources functions, current trends, and developments OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
- Proven organizational skills demonstrating effective planning, prioritization, and timely execution of tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks under challenging circumstances.
- Associate degree in human resources.
- Basic SAP Success Factors experience
- Basic ADP Workforce experience
- Strong MS Office experience
- Familiarity with national HR laws and regulations
- Familiarity with HR policies and systems
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
