Join a dynamic neurodiagnostic team at St. Bernardine Medical Center, where advanced technology meets compassionate care. We are currently seeking a Registered EEG Technologist with specialized experience in diagnostic neurophysiology to support critical neurological procedures and patient monitoring.

In this role, you will perform a wide range of neurodiagnostic tests including EEGs, Evoked Potentials (EP), Nerve Conduction Studies (NCV), and Transcranial Doppler (TCD). You will also provide continuous EEG monitoring in critical care settings and participate in intraoperative neuromonitoring for complex surgeries. Your precision and expertise will play a vital role in patient diagnosis, surgical outcomes, and interdisciplinary care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform routine and complex EEG studies (digital and analog), including long-term and ICU monitoring.
  • Conduct specialized diagnostic procedures such as NCVs, BAERs, Visual and Somatosensory EPs, and TCD studies.
  • Support intraoperative monitoring for carotid, cardiac, and spinal procedures.
  • Operate and maintain neurodiagnostic equipment, including NCI Digital Networking systems.
  • Participate in QA, infection control, and the development of departmental procedures and standards.
  • Ensure accurate data capture, documentation, and collaboration with clinical teams to support timely and informed care.

Qualifications:

  • One year of EEG clinical experience in an acute care setting.
  • Graduate of ASET approved program.
  • Registered as an Electroencephalographic Technologist by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET).
  • BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • Standby will be required.
