Senior Accountant
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Brentwood, Tennessee. This role is ideal for someone with strong expertise in financial operations and accounting processes, who thrives in fast-paced environments and values accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintain and update the general ledger to reflect all financial transactions.
- Prepare and post journal entries while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Perform account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Analyze financial statements and reports to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist with audits by preparing relevant documentation and answering inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Proven experience in accounting roles, particularly with month-end close processes.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger maintenance and journal entry preparation.
- Expertise in account reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures and resolving discrepancies.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
