- Financial Reporting: Preparation and financial statements and FS analysis in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Responsible for application of appropriate accounting in accordance with US GAAP necessary to produce accurate and timely financial reporting across all processes.
- Month-End Journal Entries, and P&L Review of Revenue, COGS, Operating Expenses
- Monthly Balance Sheet GL Reconciliations & review of reconciliations to ensure appropriate support is available to back up the presented Financial Statements
- Inventory Valuation vs. GL Monitoring, understanding adjustments & GL posting profiles
- Fixed Asset System Maintaining PPE in Asset Keeper, ensuring Capitalized Expenditure Request process runs smoothly with operations department & stakeholders
- ASC 606 Revenue Recognition application Ensuring the Company is recognizing revenue in accordance with GAAP
- Personal and Real Property Tax Reporting for all branches by State, County and City. Maintaining control of the P&L expense via accrual and reconciling between actual payments
- Deposits & Prepaid Maintenance Ensuring proper expense amortization is taking place for prepaid services in accordance with GAAP
- General Financial Statement Preparation & Analysis
- Follow through implementation for policy changes and updated business development concepts company wide.
- Basic personal computer skills, email, and office software (MS Office Excel).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a shifting environment
- Thorough understanding of GAAP and financial accounting principles
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA Designation preferred) from a 4-year college/university
- One+ year of related GL & Accounting experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
