Under the guidance of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Financial Analyst will be responsible for the processing of expenditures for the people we serve through Duet along with the associated staff costs to serve them. This person will be responsible for the entire accounting process for production revenue. This position will also be responsible for maintaining the records for leased and owned properties. The Financial Analyst will also perform many other accounting functions, including, but not limited to entering accounts payable, reconciling accounts and preparing reports. This position requires continuous communication with other individuals throughout the organization on a frequent and regular basis.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Calculate, prepare, and process the share of costs, room and board, and personal needs of the people we served.
  • Process payments for reimbursable expenses for Agency staff.
  • Process job tickets, create invoices, and process payments for production billings.
  • Maintain loan files for all properties as well as process note payments.
  • Prepare, code, enter and post a variety of accounts payable transactions and journal entries.
  • Review and reconcile various general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Run and distribute various reports on a regular basis.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis to support management decisions and business initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecast, and month end closure.
  • Gather and consolidate financial data from various departments for analysis.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with financial data in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Education, Training and Experience:

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required.
  • Experience with Workday preferred.

  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Able to maintain effective work relations with staff, vendors, and the public as well as working independently.
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, accurate, and a self-starter.
  • Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Able to perform mathematical calculations involving decimals, fractions, and percentages.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Advanced Excel skills required to perform daily job functions.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

  • Able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time.
