Description
Develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control.
What you will be responsible for:
  • Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting efforts including free cash flow.
  • Prepare various monthly charts and analyses including Key Program Metrics, Administrative Performance Metrics, etc.
  • Responsible for administrative activities associated with estimate to complete (ETC) updates, research and correction of problems and general maintenance systems under direct supervision.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for Senior Management as requested using Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Hyperion.
  • Support for data collection from profit centers and key programs as needed.
  • Special projects as assigned or directed, such as Program Management Reviews, ad hoc management presentations, Board presentations, etc.
  • Maintain good working relationships with divisional accounting, cross functional leaders, and corporate staff, providing support as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What you will need to be successful in this role:
  • Required: Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
  • Preferred: Master's degree (M.A.) or MBA.
  • At least 5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • CostPoint experience a plus.
  • Preferred:
    • Knowledgeable of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and supplements.
    • Understanding of Cost Accounting Standards.
    • Experience with government proposal pricing, programs, cost account management, Earned Value Management and Truth in Negotiations Act
