Sr. Finance Analyst - 17535
Description
Develops, interprets, and implements complex financial and accounting concepts, or techniques for financial planning and control.
What you will be responsible for:
- Support monthly forecasting and annual budgeting efforts including free cash flow.
- Prepare various monthly charts and analyses including Key Program Metrics, Administrative Performance Metrics, etc.
- Responsible for administrative activities associated with estimate to complete (ETC) updates, research and correction of problems and general maintenance systems under direct supervision.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for Senior Management as requested using Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Hyperion.
- Support for data collection from profit centers and key programs as needed.
- Special projects as assigned or directed, such as Program Management Reviews, ad hoc management presentations, Board presentations, etc.
- Maintain good working relationships with divisional accounting, cross functional leaders, and corporate staff, providing support as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
What you will need to be successful in this role:
- Required: Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
- Preferred: Masters degree (M.A.) or MBA.
- At least 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Preferred:
- Knowledgeable of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and supplements.
- Understanding of Cost Accounting Standards.
- Experience with government proposal pricing, programs, cost account management, Earned Value Management and Truth in Negotiations Act
