Financial Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial planning and analysis. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and operational evaluation to help achieve organizational goals and drive business success.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed financial planning and analysis to support both strategic and operational priorities.
  • Prepare and present insightful financial reports and performance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Analyze operational and financial data, translating it into actionable insights to guide decision-making.
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure transparency and foster teamwork.
  • Assist in the development of presentations for management team discussions.
  • Monitor debt compliance and evaluate related financial obligations.
  • Design and maintain financial models to support project finance and forecasting efforts.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate accounting policies and procedures.
  • Utilize advanced tools and software to streamline budget planning and reporting processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CPA or CFA are a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in financial planning and analysis, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key insights.
  • Familiarity with debt compliance and contract language.
  • Advanced skills in financial modeling and project finance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint) and financial systems such as Hyperion, Planning Maestro, or similar tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
